Bradley's new passport

Bradley's almost packed!. Got his new passport today along with yet another jab, this time for Rabies!. At least they have relaxed the conditions now and he can come and go between countries with ease...we hope!. His vet, Jonathan also put together a lovely travel pack for him together with some funky collars which sort out the nasty bugs!.

Health Checks!

We all spent yesterday visiting the vet and the doctors. Pleased to say we all passed with flying colours and are declared Healthy!. Bradley was given a travel first aid kit by the Vet and we have a list of stuff to put together for us humans as well. Interesting that the Doc said how expensive paracetamol is in Europe so we will make sure we have a few boxes of that. Also how these Paracetamol tablets with Aspirin, Caffeine and the like do little good, its just better to take a plain paracetamol and back it up with Nurofen if needed.

Thats Christmas and the New Year out of the way and we sat down yesterday and made the biggest check list you have ever seen!. Starting to order those last essential bits needed and taking advantage of all the current New Year sales. Maximus has a cold and the RAC man discovered he had water in his diesel filter (No wonder with all the rain we are having!) so its off to the workshop next week to get that sorted. Piccolo has an MOT due in February and new tax year so that should sort that whilst we are away. Maximus will need re-taxing in September 2012 whilst we are away so I need to talk to our DVLA department about that.
We couldn't get a French bank account opened in time as Europe banks operate so differently than ours (Apart from them all crashing the economy) so we are looking at a new type of top up Euro Credit card to use to prevent our own bank stinging us 3% every time we use the card.
